Government has notified five transmission projects for implementation with private sector participation through tariff based competitive bidding route. The notified schemes are inter-State transmission projects and as such these do not belong to any particular state.
Details of the transmission schemes are given below:

Total: 1300 - Transmission System associated with IPPs of Vemagiri Area- Package B – Vemagiri Pooling Station – 250 650 Khammam 765kV 1xD/c (2nd ckt.) line. – Khamam – Hyderabad 765 250 650 kV 1xD/c (2nd ckt.) line. Total: 1300
- Transmission System associated with IPPs of Vemagiri Area- Package C – Wardha – Jabalpur Pooling 400 1040 Station 765kV 1xD/c line. Grand Total 6485 Since the above transmission schemes would be implemented through tariff based competitive bidding route, no funds are required to be spent by the Government as Capital expenditure.
