ITC Ltd is planning to develop 48 MW of Wind Power Project with an estimated investment of Rs. 300 Crores.
As said by the company, the move is on the line of its efforts to increase the consumption from renewable energy and reduce the dependence on conventional energy.
Around 40% of the company's consumption is coming from renewable energy sources which are mostly located in the state of Tamil Nadu.
Currently, company is having wind projects portfolio of around 70 MW.
To increase the above mentioned percentage company is planning to add another wind project having 48 MW capacity at Andhra Pradesh.
