Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission will soon start the process of defining minimum quantum of solar power required to be purchased by the Discoms under Renewable Purchase Obligation (RPO) Regulations.
DERC has earlier issued a draft regulations on the above subject for the year 2011-12 which was called as “Draft DERC (Renewable purchase obligations and renewable energy certificate framework implementation) regulations, 2011” and under the DERC has proposed following year wise and technology wise RPOs for Discoms.
